Bo'ao Palm Springs International Resort Village

In less than ten years, Bo’ao developed from an ordinary small town near the boarder into the current international diplomatic dialogue platform for foreign affairs, praised as “China’s Davos” by some. Bo’ao has convenient transportation, flourishing communications industry, increasingly complete infrastructure, and moreover, many star hotels as well as two development zones are distributed here. The development zones refer to Bo’ao Coastal Tourism Development Zone and Bo’ao Water City International Convention and Exhibition Resort.

Asian Forum’s permanent meeting place is located in Bo’ao Water City International Convention and Exhibition Resort. Besides, Bo’ao has abundant tourism resources, perfect ecological protection, and it flows with natural resources such as hot springs and titanium mines. Moreover, it has a vast expanse of water area, and Wanquan River, Jiuqu River and Longgun River meet here and then flow into the South Sea. The meeting place of these three islands named Dongyu Island, Shapo Island, and Mandarin Duck Island overlooks these three islands opposite to each other.Around these three islands, groups of mountains stretch to the distance, and luxuriantly green coco trees are grown everywhere. The rivers and streams, the sea, the piedmont, and the islands are integrated into a whole, and the beaches, wonder stones, fields, sea waters, as well as the coco forest gather together, being praised as the most-perfectly protected landscape among all of those near the entry of the sea all over the world.

Bo’ao has many famous historic legends as well as a great number of ancient cultural ruins, including Shanyin Temple, the rocks on the Yudai beach, Guanyin Temple, and many ancient towns located near the waterways and the lakes.
