Geographic Location
The Palm Springs International Resort Project is located at the Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort of Sanya City, Hainan Province, the southern tip of Hainan Islands, the true edge of the sky and the rim of the sea in perceived from the perspective of China’s geographical characteristics.
Neighboring White Stone Hill in the north and Kanyang Bay in the south, next to Liudao fishing port in the west and Yalong Bay in the east, Sanya Palm Springs International Resort Golf Course extends 5 kilometers from east to west and 2 kilometers from south to north, and occupies an area of 10.33 square kilometers with a costal line of about 16 kilometers, integrating mountains, ocean sceneries and many other advantageous resources. It will be developed and built into a first class golf course in the world relieved against mountain massif and waterscape, and surrounding the course and the hotel, super-five-star resort hotels, themed private meeting places, and resort villas with the most brilliant sceneries in Asia will also be constructed.

Under the precondition of “controlling the environmental damage to the lowest level as well as building the best golf course on the best land’’, as far as designing concept is concerned, Arnold Palmer, the heart and soul of the golf designing circle, is famous for designing relaxing and challenging golf courses with the highest potential of winning an award. And another designer, Nelson & Haworth can perfectly integrate the golf course with the natural beauty of the land. Both of them worked together in an engaging manner and made two 18-hole golf courses of total different styles, i.e. City View Mountain Valley Golf Course and Ocean View Golf Course.
The 18-hole City View Mountain Valley Golf Course is located the valley extending from the east to the west in the central part of our project, and the valley reaches the beach near Four Seasons Hotel and then it goes over the mountain ridge in the west until it finally arrives the entrance of our project, so its grand location provides changeable landscapes. The 1st and the 18th holes end at City View Golf Meeting Place in the center of the beach, the changeable landscape and the golf course holes dug in the valley will bring you unforgettable memories after playing golf. Besides, the visitors can have a complete view of Sanya City while playing golf here.
Another 18-hole golf course, Ocean View Golf Course is located at the eastern tip of White Tiger Corner, and this is a changeable international course for competition. It is designed as a round course perceived as a whole, and the course ends at a very special sea landscape golf course meeting place in the north. This golf course possesses a series of symbolic holes clustering in the fantastic background which is composed of huge rocks, woods on the top of the cliff standing in the sea water. Each hole has a unique charm, and many landscapes such as the sea, Yalong Bay, the highest place of the project, i.e. the Sun Rock can be seen clearly from here. At the very beginning of its design, the golf course was considered to be the most changeable golf course in China as well as one of the most distinctive golf courses in the world. What is worth mentioning is that Ocean View Golf Course Meeting Place is located on an imposing ridge of a mountain facing the sea, thus it can be regarded as a golf course with the best landscapes.
